A hydraulic manifold designed around the machine's function.
We design hydraulic systems and complete manifold solutions with controls. The starting point is the machine's task; the scope is agreed from its requirements.

When should you consider a custom manifold?
When several functions must fit into limited space, an existing machine needs upgrading or a repeatable solution is required for a series of machines. The design brings together hydraulics, ports, service access and controls.
A finished 3D model is not needed for the first discussion. An operating description, outline circuit or existing system documentation is enough. We will identify missing information and agree the next steps.
From requirements to an agreed solution
Functional analysis
Operating cycle, actuator loads, simultaneous functions and behaviour after loss of power.
Circuit and components
Selection of valve functions, adjustment ranges, cavities, coils and control components.
Manifold and interface design
Ports, mounting, available machine space, component layout and access to adjustments.
Manufacture and control preparation
Agreeing the manufacturing, assembly and configuration scope for the project.
Verification and commissioning
The test scope, acceptance criteria and commissioning support are agreed before delivery.
What should a manifold enquiry include?
| Information | Examples of required details |
|---|---|
| Hydraulics | Number of actuators, required pressure and flow, fluid, temperatures and operating cycle. |
| Mechanical requirements | Available space, port positions and standards, mounting and environmental conditions. |
| Electrical requirements | Power supply, control signals, communication, diagnostics and the required response to loss of power. |
| Delivery scope | Prototype or production series, required timing, documentation and implementation support. |
HydraForce, Bosch Rexroth and other components
We assess components within the complete system. Solutions using Bosch Rexroth / Oil Control valves require individual checks of their function and interfaces; common group ownership does not replace comparison of technical datasheets.
Our broader hydraulic system, power unit and machine solutions offering is presented on the Salus Hydraulics website. International enquiries are handled through Salus International.
