How do you select a coil and controller for a HydraForce valve?
Similar appearance and matching voltage are not enough. The assembly must be mechanically, electrically and functionally compatible with the valve and machine.
Start with the valve, then the coil
Identify the full valve designation and existing coil number. Record mounting dimensions and connector type. Include a photograph of the valve section on which the coil is fitted.
Do not assume that a valve shown in a product photograph is supplied with a coil. The scope of supply depends on the specific version and offer.
Power supply involves more than rated voltage
Check the supply type, ratings and control method specified for the coil. Proportional systems also depend on the current characteristics and controller output capability.
Set PWM frequency, dither and current limits according to the documentation for the particular assembly. One setting is not suitable for all HydraForce valves.
What must the controller support?

Replacing an old part number with a new one
An older number may lead to information about a newer version. This is a starting point for verification, not proof of interchangeability. Compare mounting, connector, ratings and change documentation before ordering.
Configuration does not replace system commissioning
The programme or configuration file must suit the device and application. Library examples are not ready-to-use programmes for any machine. Agree the functional verification and test scope for the particular system.
